Use check disk command for any errors on hard disk -

Warning: Microsoft does not recommend interrupting the CHKDSK process. Microsoft does not guarantee the integrity of the disk if the CHKDSK program is interrupted .For safety you can back up your data before using the check disk command.

Use the check disk commands as follows:

a. Click on the start button, In the search box type” command” and click on the “Command prompt” in the search results listing.
 b. In search window type 'cmd' and ENTER. Right click and select 'Run as administrator'.
c. Type at the command prompt CHKDSK /P and press ENTER to scan the disk.
d. Then type CHKDSK C: /F /R and press ENTER to repair corrupt sectors, if there are any.

NOTE: The root drive has to be C: and the command may schedule a task at the system startup, if it does, then press Y to schedule a task and restart the computer to perform chkdsk.
Once chkdsk completes, boot to the desktop and then check.

Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost

Run SFC / Scannow. Please follow the below steps:

Run the System File Checker (SFC) scan. Follow these steps:

a. Click on the start button, In the search box type” command” and click on the “Command prompt” in the search results listing.
b) Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow.
The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

1. Click on Start. Go to Run. If you use Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista, go to Search.
2. Type regedit and press Enter. Registry Editor will start. If Registry Editor is also disabled, you will first need to enable registry editing.
3. Through the left hand navigation pane, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\ Current Version\Policies\System. If the System key is not there, you will need to create it.
4. In the work area, locate "DisableTaskMgr". If this value is not there, you will need to create a new DWORD value called DisableTaskMgr. Double click on it. A window will pop up.
5. Enter its value data as 0 and press OK.
6. Close Registry Editor. If Task Manager is still disabled, restart your computer.

Enable Task Manager from the Group Policy Editor (Gpedit.msc)

Group Policy Editor is a feature in Windows which is used to edit local policy settings. It can also be used to enable Task Manager. To do so, just follow the steps given below:-

1. Open Start Menu. Windows XP users click on Run. Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Vista users, go to Search.
2. Type gpedit.msc and press Enter. Group Policy Editor Window will show up.

4. In the work area, double click on "Remove Task Manager" and set its value to Disabled or Not Configured.

If you are unfamiliar with manually editing the Registry, you can create a Registry file which will automatically modify the Registry Key to re-enable Task Managing. To create one such file:-

1. Open Notepad or any other text editor.
2. Copy the code given below and paste it as it is in it.

Doug Knox has created a VBS Script which allows users to easily enable and disable the Registry Editor. Just download regedit tools.zip, extract the VBS file and double click on it. This script reverses the current state of the Registry Editor. If registry editing is set to enabled, this script will disable it and if it is disabled, it will enable it.

5. Klik opsi instalasi kustom yang Anda inginkan:
   
   • Klik tanda plus (+) untuk memperluas folder dan melihat fitur selengkapnya.
     
   • Simbol di samping setiap fitur menunjukkan cara fitur akan diinstal secara default. Anda bisa mengubah cara fitur akan diinstal dengan mengklik simbolnya, lalu memilih simbol lain dari daftar yang muncul. Simbol dan artinya adalah sebagai berikut:
      Jalankan dari Komputer Saya     Fitur akan diinstal dan disimpan pada hard disk Anda ketika Anda menyelesaikan Penyetelan. Subfitur tidak akan diinstal dan disimpan pada hard disk komputer Anda.
      Jalankan semua dari Komputer Saya     Fitur dan semua subfiturnya akan diinstal dan disimpan pada hard disk Anda ketika Anda menyelesaikan Penyetelan.
      Diinstal pada Penggunaan Pertama     Fitur akan diinstal pada hard disk Anda ketika Anda menggunakan fitur untuk pertama kalinya. Pada saat itu, Anda mungkin memerlukan akses ke CD atau server jaringan yang menjadi sumber instalasi. Opsi ini mungkin tidak tersedia untuk semua fitur.
      Tidak Tersedia     Fitur tidak akan diinstal karena tidak tersedia.
     
   • Jika fitur mempunyai subfitur, simbol dengan latar belakang putih menunjukkan bahwa fitur dan semua subfiturnya mempunyai metode instalasi yang sama. Simbol dengan latar belakang abu-abu menunjukkan bahwa fitur dan subfiturnya mempunyai kombinasi metode instalasi.
     
   • Anda juga bisa menggunakan keyboard untuk menelusuri fitur dan mengubah opsi fitur. Gunakan tombol PANAH ATAS dan PANAH BAWAH untuk memilih fitur. Gunakan tombol PANAH KANAN untuk memperluas fitur yang berisi satu atau beberapa subfitur. Gunakan tombol PANAH KIRI untuk menciutkan fitur yang diperluas. Ketika Anda telah memilih fitur yang ingin diubah, tekan BILAH SPASI untuk menampilkan menu pilihan penyetelan. Gunakan tombol PANAH ATAS dan PANAH BAWAH untuk memilih opsi penyetelan yang Anda inginkan, lalu tekan ENTER.
     
6. Ketika Anda selesai memilih opsi instalasi kustom yang Anda inginkan, lakukan salah satu hal berikut:
   
   • Klik Mutakhirkan. Tombol ini muncul jika Penyetelan mendeteksi versi lebih lama dari program Office yang sama pada komputer Anda.
     
   • Klik Instal Sekarang. Tombol ini muncul jika Penyetelan tidak mendeteksi versi lebih lama dari program Office yang sama pada komputer Anda.
